Jaida Aboulfotouh serves as a lecturer of “International Relations and the UAE” at the University of Wollongong in Dubai, UAE. Her research revolves around the development of human rights in the Gulf and the intricate interplay between international law and international relations. In her previous roles, Jaida worked as a political and legal researcher at the Future for Advanced Research and Studies in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, she held a position as a lecturer in the Law Department at Prince Mohamed Bin Fahd University in Khobar, KSA.
On the academic front, Jaida holds a Master of Studies in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford. Complementing this, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a specialization in International Law from the American University in Cairo.
