
Ludovica Castelli is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Leicester within the Third Nuclear Age project, funded by the European Research Council. Her project focuses on the history of the ‘nuclear domino’ metaphor, particularly within the context of the Middle East. Her research interests are in conceptual history, linguistic constitution of histories, conceptualisations of nuclear order(s), and Middle Eastern nuclear politics. She has published her research in The Nonproliferation Review, and Middle Eastern Studies (forthcoming). She is co-author of the book ‘The Global Third Nuclear Age’ (Routledge).
