Almuntaser Albalawi is a nuclear engineer and political scientist specializing in arms control, science, and international security. He is an associate fellow in the international security department at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt. Previously, he held positions at the Royal Scientific Society and has consulted for the World Bank. Almuntaser is a certified nuclear security professional and is actively engaged in expert networks, including the European Leadership Network, NATO Defence College and Johns Hopkins’ Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity.
