Dr. A. Esra Serim is a researcher in the field of Political Science and International Relations. She taught and conducted many seminars at Sciences Po d’Aix in France. Her doctoral dissertation, entitled The Iranian Factor in the Context of US-Turkey Relations, addressed the nuclear program of Iran and its effects on the US-Turkey relationship since the end of the Cold War. Her research focuses on disarmament, nuclear security, and arms control. Her published works deal with Iran, nuclear security, weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and missile systems. She received her Ph.D. from Sciences Po d’Aix, France in 2020, and was a visiting researcher at George Washington University in 2017.
