Dr. Tariq Dana is an assistant professor of conflict and humanitarian studies, Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. He was an adjunct professor at Northwestern University- Qatar, and served as the director of the Center for Development Studies at Birzeit University, a senior research fellow at Ibrahim Abu-Logoud Institute of International Studies, the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and the School of Oriental and African Studies. He is also an associate editor of Middle East Critique and a policy advisor for the Palestinian Policy Network (Al-Shabaka). He has published widely on the Middle East and Palestine affairs.
